About the Team
Tom’s Hardware is the leading site for PC enthusiasts, covering everything from building your own computer to buying the perfect gaming laptop to constructing robots with Raspberry Pi. Our editors and writers are passionate and demonstrate contagious energy that makes working here and reading the site inspiring.
Job Purpose
Tom’s hardware covers laptops and desktops from an enthusiast perspective. The Staff writer will be responsible for providing extensive coverage and in-depth reviews of both laptops (with an emphasis on performance and gaming) and prebuilt PCs.
Key Responsibilities

Write 2-3 full reviews of laptops or desktops each week
-
Write 1-2 daily news articles
-
Assist in benchmarking of products reviewed

Attend and cover industry events (press conferences / trade shows) on behalf of Tom’s Hardware

Build and maintain buying guides that list the best products in each category
